This year SSRA is providing a GS camp and a Slalom camp at Mt. Hood for U14 and older athletes.
GS Camp - June 18th to June 27th - Cost $2250 USD
SL Camp - July 23rd to August 1st - Cost $2250 USD
Both camps include transportation from Spokane, lift tickets, lodging, and all meals except lunch on the first travel day and dinner on the return travel day. We will be staying at the Mazama Lodge in Government Camp. This camp is open to athletes that will be a U14 or older next season (YOB 2006). The camps include four days on snow, a rest day, then an additional four days on snow. These camps begin with a focus on fundamental drills that improve stance and body positions, then progress to developing efficient movement patterns and improving tactics. This camp is provides a great opportunity for athletes to refine / develop skills in a very productive environment. Coaches and athletes from Mt. Bachelor Ski Education Foundation (MBSEF) will join us for part of our camp. This combined project provides a great opportunity for our athletes to train with athletes from and coaches from another high quality club in the division. All athletes must stay with the team. Once you register you will receive additional information. Second year U12’s for next year (YOB 2007) will be allowed to attend the Slalom camp on a case by case basis. Please contact Dan Henry if you are interested in having your athlete attend the full slalom camp.
This camp is also open to athletes from other teams. If you have a friend on another team that wants to attend they can register on the website or contact Dan Henry at firstname.lastname@example.org or 425-232-5482 for more information
