All SSRA FIS Juniors, Juniors and Jr. Development (DEVO) athletes are invited to attend the 10th Annual , 2009 SSRA Banff Fall Training Camp taking place November 20-29! This yearly team event provides an exciting start to the season. And, over the past eight years, it has become a favorite amongst SSRA families! The Banff, Alberta area is a beautiful, resort winter playground with innumerable activites. Nestled in the awe-inspiring Canadian Rockies, we could not find a better location to hold a camp.Click here for a complete list of Banff area activities.

The purpose of the camp is to have fun while preparing for the upcoming season. Athletes return from this camp with a competitive advantage; a "jump start" to the winter. The snow is manmade and firm; perfect for training purposes. This is a huge attraction for us as we don't get hard snow, on a regular basis, in the Pacific Northwest. These conditions allow athletes to feel the cause and effect relationships of effective and ineffective balancing movements and movement patterns. Furthermore, Banff is an outstanding training atmosphere. Athletes from around the world come together to take advantage of the opportunities in the area. All of this contributes to SSRA athletes being more prepared for training at Mt. Spokane and for competition once the season begins.

The Banff Camp is a great time for all and an experience that you will never forget. We encourage you to attend and start the season off with a bang. Let me know how I can help and call with questions (509)979-7499.
